Why I want to meet Chris Campbell
Warm doesnt begin to describe the warm fuzzies people, myself included, get when they think of CC.
Plus, he’s a film buff. I love to talk films. I live in So Cal, after all.

Chris was the first person to welcome me to the gratitude goal. And he has been unfailing in his support.
Chris seems to be a man of real family values, and has family ties in Scotland.
I think we’d have a lot to talk about.

He appreciates films and describes eloquently exactly what he likes and doesn’t like about them. Also, he has seen a lot more of them than I have and I can learn a lot from him. He also has wit, which is a rare commodity.
She’s determined, talented, skilled and generous. She helps people and makes the world a better place. Why wouldn’t someone admire her and want to meet her?
We seem to have strange synchronicity in terms of our rhythms of using the 43 Things site. She is a thoughtful writer who is generous with her comments and honest and inspirational in how she looks at and engages with the world.
I first found out about NYCinephile in the Data Janitors group where he was helping improve the way that 43 Places works.
But then he started suggesting things. Very good things that restarted and refocused my connections with 43 Things and helped them grow.
I like how he has great suggestions and how we share many things in common, but have some interesting differences in our tastes in films and television, which is very good to enable conversation. He understands that the key to community is connecting and sharing and I’m glad to have met him online.
It would be nice to enjoy a meal and a drink somewhere (either here, in Nova Scotia or there, in New York City).

She is positive, encouraging, happy and full of joy.
It’s interesting to assemble a picture of someone from the incremental sharing and contact through postings on web sites, but within all of those postings there is a warmth and generosity that always makes me smile. She also seems to have an inexhaustible source of energy deep within her that inspires many people.
While I’d love to go to India and meet her, it would also be nice for her (and whatever entourage of family and friends she would bring) to see this part of the east coast of Canada. We could see the highest tides in the world along the Bay of Fundy, the beautiful hills and valleys, and feel the breeze blowing from the Minas Basin. We would also probably have a few good meals with family and friends and laugh and then laugh some more.
